Tanzanian Prawns, Coconut-Lime, Zanzibar Style, plated and ready to serve

This is one of the quickest dishes in the whole book — prawns take only minutes, and the coconut-lime sauce comes together in about the same time. It’s exactly the kind of dish sold hot off Zanzibar’s beachside grills, bright with lime and warmed through with just enough chili to notice.
