Keto Dark Rye Bread Dunkelbrot, plated and ready to serve

German dark bread — Dunkelbrot or Schwarzbrot — is one of the most nutritionally dense and flavourful breads in the world, and this keto version does it justice, extraordinary in both texture and depth. Using almond flour, flaxseed, psyllium husk, and a little strong coffee for authentic dark colour and malty depth, the result is a dense, sliceable loaf with a characteristically tight crumb and intense caraway-forward flavour.
