Gefüllte Paprika Stuffed Peppers, plated and ready to serve

Gefüllte Paprika is the dish that every German child has eaten at a grandmother’s kitchen table, and it remains one of the most satisfying and wholesome meals in the German repertoire — a family classic that has fed generations. Using a cauliflower rice base instead of breadcrumbs in the filling cuts the carbs dramatically while maintaining the perfect texture, and the long, slow braise in tomato sauce ensures the peppers become sweet and yielding.
