The Thuringian Rostbratwurst has been awarded EU Protected Geographical Indication, which tells you everything about its cultural importance — seriously special. Made with finely ground pork shoulder seasoned with marjoram, caraway, and garlic, and grilled over real wood coals, it has a flavour that is simultaneously delicate and intensely satisfying. If you can source authentic Thuringian sausages, this is the way to serve them.
