The Bauernfrühstück — literally ‘farmer’s breakfast’ — was designed to fuel a full day of physical labour in the fields. Traditionally made with pan-fried potatoes, this keto version replaces them with golden-crisped celeriac cubes that deliver the same satisfying heartiness with a fraction of the carbs. Add coarsely chopped Bratwurst, scrambled eggs, and soft onions, and you have a meal that is earthy, smoky, deeply filling, and entirely keto — one that could carry you through until evening.
