Vanillekipferl Vanilla Crescents, plated and ready to serve

Vanillekipferl are perhaps the most beloved of all German-Austrian Christmas biscuits, dusted in erythritol snow, the soul of German Christmas. Made traditionally with ground walnuts or almonds, they have a barely-set texture that crumbles in the most wonderful way, releasing a surge of vanilla and nut before dissolving entirely. This keto version uses almond flour and walnuts with powdered erythritol for the signature snowy finish.
