Polish Szarlotka-less Almond Tart, Sugar-Free, plated and ready to serve

Szarlotka is Poland’s beloved apple tart, its warm cinnamon filling a genuine comfort dessert. Apples carry too much sugar for a keto version, so this recipe uses chayote squash — which takes on a remarkably apple-like texture when cooked — in a buttery almond flour crust.
